What is the difference between the Stott Pilates method and other pilates techniques?
Stott pilates incorporates modern exercises principles about spinal rehabilitation and athletic performance enhancement. Stott pilates exercises are designed to restore the spinal curves and balance the muscles around the joints. there is a whole range of equipment, modifications and exercises to cater to all different body types, abilities and requirements.

Will i be able to do pilates with a bad back?

Pilates is a controlled workout without jarring movemnts or spinal impact. An experienced and certified instructor will be able to modify the exercises to accoodate limitations, whilst challenging you within your range of movement. Is it safe to do pilates during pregnancy?
No two bodies and pregnancies are the same. It is therefor important to consult your physician and get medical advice as to what will be appropriate for you.
Stott Pilates follow the exercises guidelines and safety guidelines set out by the American college of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
The possibilities offered by using the stott pilates equipment are very helpful during the different stages of pregnancy.
All instructors at Ajna have a vast experience in instructing pregnant clients, as well as having taught many Stott pilates pre and postnatal workshops to other instructors.
